What to Pack for Your Labor Day Weekend in the Hamptons

September 03, 2015

We’ve sadly reached the last official weekend of Summer and it is time to say goodbye to the Jitney and hello to Autumn in New York. So for your last weekend of Summer Fridays and freedom, we’ve got you covered. Here’s the list of everything you’ll need when packing for a Labor Day weekend in The Hamptons.

Hamptons by Day

Whether you hit the beach or choose to stay poolside at your home, soaking up the rest of the summer rays is essential, not to mention the needed napping to recover from the night before. Here’s how you can come prepared:

Hamptons by Night

As the end of the summer draws near, those beach nights get chillier, and layering is key. We never leave for the Hamptons without our staple Chambray shirt, and a pashmina scarf (stripes preferred), as they both can pair with absolutely any beach outfit seamlessly.

Rest & Recharge

While we love to play hard, we also to rest. Recover from late nights with a rejuvenating sleep routine in addition to your afternoon naps in the sun.

Then don’t forget to pack everything into your favorite weekender bag to throw over your shoulder and be off. We are obsessed with this Eddie Harrop weekender tote for all our weekend getaways. It’s a great staple that stands out from all the other Longchamp totes that will trek out for the weekend in the Hamptons.
