How To Unwind After A Long Day
Stressful day at the office? Long day of classes? Or just a long day of being your fab self? I’ve got some tips and tricks to help you unwind, (or wine down) before pulling your mask over your eyes and getting your beauty sleep.
First things first, pour yourself a glass of wine. Red wine is my drink of choice after a long day. My favorite right now is Josh Cellars Cabernet.
Bubble baths are always a great idea! Fill your bathtub and drop in your favorite bath bomb, (Lush has so many to choose from). My current favorite is the Avobath from Lush.
Candles help set the mood (for sleeping) as well as make your room smell ahhhmazing! My favorite candles are the Le Labo Santal 26 Candles. You can find them at Barneys!
Music is also a great way to chill out and relax. There are millions of Spotify playlists that are perfect for relaxing and unwinding! Search “sleep” or “Relax & Unwind”.
Finally, a great book and a comfy bed will make your long day seem so worth it. Pick something light and easy to read before bed and it will help your mind unwind and relax. Babe Walker has some great books! I am currently reading her new book, Thirsty.
