1. You Are Hangry all of the time
According to The Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Stanford University, people who sleep less than 6 hours a night are more likely to gain weight. Lack of sleep can cause a hormonal imbalance in the body leading to an increase in ghrelin, a hormone produced in your stomach that makes you feel hungry and crave junk food.
2. You Can't Remember Sh*t
Did you forget what you just read? Sleep deprivation can cause short term memory loss and forgetfulness. Take a nap and wake up sharp as a tack.
3. You Wake Up Tired
This could mean that you are not getting enough sleep or too much (really?). Either way, it is a major sign of sleep deprivation.
